Privacy policy

Last updated 3 September 2026

This page explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet the notice requirements of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Who is responsible

Vasudev Kale, sole proprietor, trading as Vitrivis.
Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
hello@vitrivis.com

What is collected, and why

When you use the enquiry form

The form collects your name, your phone number, your message, and a record of which page you sent it from. This is used for one purpose only: to reply to your enquiry. It is sent by email to hello@vitrivis.com and stays in that mailbox. It is not added to any mailing list, not used for marketing, and not sold or shared with anyone.

Because the form does not ask for an email address, a reply will come by phone or WhatsApp.

When you allow analytics

If you press Accept on the cookie notice, Google Analytics is loaded. It records which pages you visited, roughly how long you stayed, the type of device and browser you used, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address. Your IP address is anonymised before it is stored. This is used to understand which writing people find useful.

If you press Decline, or ignore the notice, Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookies are set. Everything else on the site works exactly the same.

Google is the processor for this data and may store it outside India. Google's own terms govern what they do with it.

Automatically, by the web server

The hosting provider keeps standard access logs — IP address, the time of the request, and the browser used. This happens for every website and is needed to keep the site running and secure. These logs are held by the hosting provider and are not used for anything else.

If you click the WhatsApp button

You are taken to WhatsApp, which is run by Meta. Anything you send there is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy terms, not this page.

Cookies

Only two things are ever stored in your browser by this site:

To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings. The notice will appear again on your next visit.

How long it is kept

Enquiries are kept while there is an active or possible working relationship, and are deleted when there is no longer a reason to hold them. Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in Google Analytics. Server logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

To do any of these, email hello@vitrivis.com. Requests are answered as quickly as possible.

Complaints

Please raise anything with Vasudev Kale first, at hello@vitrivis.com. If you are not satisfied with the response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This site is aimed at people working in healthcare and medical technology. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 18.
